glucose does not collect, store, transmit, or process any of your personal information or usage data. Specifically:

  • • No network requests or telemetry
  • • No tracking cookies or identifiers
  • • No file names, paths, or metadata
  • • No account creation or user profiles

How glucose Works

glucose is a standalone desktop application that runs entirely on your computer. When you play a video:

  • • Files are read and decoded locally on your device
  • • No data leaves your computer
  • • No servers are contacted
  • • No internet connection is required

Website & Landing Page

This website (glucose.app) is a static landing page hosted on Vercel/Netlify. The hosting provider may collect standard web server logs (IP addresses, browser info) as part of their infrastructure operations, but we do not have access to or use this data.

We do not use cookies, analytics tools, or any tracking scripts on this website.

Open Source

glucose is open source software. You can review the entire codebase to verify our privacy claims:

Third-Party Services

glucose does not integrate with or share data with any third-party services, APIs, or platforms.

Updates

glucose does not have automatic update checking or phone-home functionality. You control when and how you update the software by downloading new releases from GitHub.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect any data about you, there's nothing for us to:

  • • Export or transfer
  • • Correct or update
  • • Restrict processing of

Your data stays on your device, under your control.

Children's Privacy

glucose does not collect data from anyone, including children. The application is safe for all ages.
